Fair Trade means an equitable partnership between producer and consumer with a long term goal of alleviation of poverty through this kind of business relationship. By allowing artisans to make a living from their craft, Fair Trade not only promotes the preservation of culture, but creates an environment where producers can work cooperatively towards the improvement of their community as a whole. Fair Trade supports people and the planet and products that are beautifully made, unique, and meaningful.
